problem

Students lack a shared, easy-to-use view of the condition of campus utilities such as laundry rooms and water fountains.

approach

Designed a cross-platform Expo prototype with branded onboarding and account screens as the front end for a community utility-quality workflow.

implementation notes

  • Prototyped an Expo/React Native app for UCSB students to discover and report the condition of campus utilities such as laundry rooms, water fountains, and dining facilities.
  • Implemented the branded home, login, and signup flows with native-stack navigation and Tailwind-style React Native components.
