problem
Checking a dining hall meal's macros in NetNutrition requires opening each food's label individually.
approach
Collect published menus and nutrition labels into complete D1 snapshots, then serve them through a web app and REST API. A Python CLI supports local browsing and meal plans.
implementation notes
- Browse dining halls, dates, and meals with calories, protein, carbs, fat, and serving sizes together.
- Open each food's original NetNutrition label and build meal plans stored in the browser.
- Publish refreshes atomically so a failed collection leaves the last complete menu available.
- Document the public API with request examples and an OpenAPI schema.
